The Customer
John Brown Project Management wanted something smaller than a standard 20ft shipping container but slightly bigger than a 10ft container. We helped them achieve this by cutting down a 20ft container into a 14ft unit, taking out a small section and then reattaching the original end.
The Build
Three sections were cut out of one of the sides, one for the installation of an anti-vandal steel personnel door, the other two to install two long and narrow windows with opening hatches. The internal space was divided into two by a partition wall, creating the classroom area and the storage space, which would be accessed from the outside using the original double container doors.
